Postdoc Open Opportunity – 2026/2027
The Yue Lab is seeking three highly motivated postdoctoral fellows and technicians to join the University of Florida. We are recruiting in the following research areas:
Mechanisms of stem cell metabolism and aging:
The successful candidate will lead independent and collaborative research projects focused on nutrient-sensing pathways, cellular metabolism, mitochondrial structure and function, and mechanisms of aging in skeletal muscle stem cells using both human cells and mouse models. The position offers opportunities to integrate molecular, metabolic, genetic, and in vivo approaches to understand how metabolic and mitochondrial adaptations influence stem cell function, regenerative capacity, and age-associated decline.
Epigenetic regulation of obesity and liver fibrosis:
The successful candidate will lead independent and collaborative research projects focused on chromatin remodeling complexes, cellular metabolism, and the molecular mechanisms underlying obesity and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), using both human cells and mouse models. The position offers opportunities to integrate molecular, metabolic, genetic, epigenomic, and in vivo approaches to define how chromatin organization and remodeling reprogram cellular function in health and disease.
Bioinformatics Technician:
Perform omics analysis and integrate multiomics datasets, including single-cell and single-nucleus RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, CUT&Tag, ChIP-seq, proteomics, and metabolomics.
